About The Studio
A Vintage Sky Studio is a small, private studio by S.A.McGowan that offers various services from commercial custom character design, concept work, graphics and animation to personal commissions and jewelry, to high quality print shops, tutorials and publications. Details on commissioning work can be found in the commissions section of the site. As the studio is still small and just re-setting itself up here under its new domain, please be patient while we get everything up and working.
Animation, Illustration, Industry and Studio/Freelance Work
I am currently open to both studio and freelance work in both the animation and illustration industry. While I am experienced in all areas of animation, I generally specialize in art direction and concept work (general, character and layout) Below are the programs that I can and have used in past work as well as my varying degrees of expertise, ranging from very experienced (many years experience hands on both professionally and trained) to experienced (have had a fair bit of experience in training and on some professional levels) to some experience (have had hands on training):
